FYI, California and much of the SW belonged to Mexico until the USA manufactured a war of aggression and stole the land out from under the people living on it.

After what we did to the natives (Indians and others) that we stole from, taking a world view, we are the illegals.

Read what Polk did, if the country and his name was not mentioned it sounds more like something that happened in Europe in the 1940's.

Ceciliabob, you have to pay for the education and healthcare for all of the illegal aliens and their kids that your state welcomes with open arms.

Gas prices are crazy. Last night I drove past a station with here in jacksonville Area that regular was $3.17 then 2 blocks away it was $3.21 then within a mile it was $3.39 at the brand station that it was $3.17 just further down teh street and around a corner. There is no reason for the differences.

the part that surprises me is how little the price of diesel changes with crude price changes. traditionally, diesel goes up around new years due to heating oil demand. last few years, i haven't seen that happen here.

we just broke $3 abt 50 miles west of here on gasoline.
was north of Atalanta yesterday, gasoline 3.15 and diesel 3.76.

Wow what a spin off from the original thread.

My ancestors came from Ireland where their land was stolen from them during the potatoe famine and they were forced to float across the Atlantic and re-settle.
Prior to the cival war the USA during an inhumane time partly relied on capturing other humans from abroad and converting them into slaves for their own profit. In turn India was robbed of its population by Africian tribes to replace Africa's loss.
Sadly I can't think of a single population who haven't been taken over to one degree or another by another people for the purpose of exploitation of some sort. Afghanistan is one of the latest, Somalia, Bosnia.
Hoping I've not offended any race or religion in the comment above - if so my apologies.
I'm not sure how that all effects the price of gas question?

$3.18 a gallon in Northwest Indiana, Cheapest it has been in a long while, isn't it ironic that now that my TT is headed for winter storage, the gas prices are down. I will bet you that by april and may 2012, when I go for my first trip of the next season, the gas prices will be $4 or above!!! Just my luck!

I am going anyway cause you only get one shot at life and I am gonna enjoy my trailer no matter what! Happy camping!

Its still cheaper than flying and then paying $150 a night to sleep in a bed with lord knows what on the mattress.

regular gas is 3.19 today and diesel is 3.54 at my regular stop. My truck hasn't been started in 1.5 weeks. The M109 takes premium @ 3.54 but luckily gets 40-50 mpgs. it's been getting cold, time to bundle up.. LOL!!!!

Today the price of gas went from $1.12 to $1.23 per liter. You can tell that a long weekend is here.
