This bracket(?) is mounted on the front corner of the roof. There are 3 others on the sides all next to the slide toppers. What is it, what does it do? Especially the one on roof.

Dometic slide topper "Anti-Billowing Bracket"! Youroo!! The One on the roof was Layed there by the installer who later said "Joe go get me Another bracket,they shorted us one"!
The one on the roof isn't mounted. Looks like the installer set it there to get installed and forgot it was there. Looks like butyl tape or caulking is the only thing securing it to the roof. Pull it off. Just a thought.
I did notice the one on roof had no screws holding it down. I never really thought of the fact that someone could have set it there and forgot about it. Because "who does something like that?" says the guy who put his cell phone on the rear bumper and drove off. I went looking for the phone a hour later. I found it but only after it had been ran over. Thank goodness for Otter Box Cases (and just maybe the Toyota Prius that ran it over certainly was not a one ton dually).
