1900 miles into our trip. Lots of steep mountainous driving, some back roads, including Wolf Creek Pass. Getting 12.3 mpg hand calculated. Nice suprise, as the Lie-o-meter says 12.0. With a 2001 F250 diesel without being chipped, but with an exhaust brake. Towing 290 Crusader, (scaled in, loaded with water, tools, etc. at 10,500). Loving the tool/fuel transfer flow add on from Craigslist. That takes the sweat out of fueling up!

From the NC coast through the Smokies and Ozarks. Never unhitched the 43' 14,000# 5er from the '16 F350. Just under 2400 miles at 10.4 mpg.

We are 3600+ miles into our 32 day trip from Dallas. We've traveled up through Kansas, Iowa, across South Dakota to Rushmore, Custer, Badlands, Devils Tower, up to north eastern Montana and across the border to Saskatchewan, back down and over to Glacier National Park and sitting in Billings as I type this. We've done a good amount of driving without the trailer (I'd estimate around 800-100 miles). Lots of the highways along this route have 80 mph speeds. The sweet spot for me and the wife and the rigs is right at 69mph. I've hit 70-75 a couple times but I keep it on cruise at 69 most of the time. The attached picture is the accumulated trip data so far. We're almost at 11mph. Empty I can get 15mph.

I see your pictures and I know y’all are having the time of your life. Having said all that what you need to do is load up your truck, fill the 50gal tank and pull on a scale. I bet you are overloaded, probably have more than a thousand lbs in your camper. We carry at least twenty gallons of fresh water plus at least five gallons in the black water tank. We use the bathroom in camper when on the road. With full LP tanks and batteries, how many do you have? The camper wasn’t weighed at the factory with full LP tanks or a battery. I would not be surprised if the camper had more than a thousand lbs before y’all added clothes and food and dishes, pots and pans. Your camper is at the limit of what I can pull with my Silverado SRW. I like the 36CK2 but if I was to get one I would have to move up to a dually. My Cedar Creek starts out a thousand pounds less than yours. You might be surprised on what truck and camper weigh. Anyway keep the pictures coming. We have been to Yellowstone with the camper a few times, I never get tired of going

Real world mileage

Ok, made the trip from Billings to West Yellowstone today. Took I90 south and then Hwy 191 all the way to West Yellowstone. There's some pretty big passes that you have to climb through Livingston and Bozeman which caused a little bit of decrease in the mpg.
