As for me and my household, we are glamping! Frig full of bacon, cheese, wine, grill right outside, hot and cold running water, cozy blankets and stereo. I have 8 down/feather pillows for the "sofa" I am making covers for right now, when I am not reading this forum....

Glamping = Toilet

Yep..glamping for me is a toilet and shower INSIDE my camper. I can do without everything else (although that fridge would be a close second choice) and be fine..well ok..maybe. I am very spoiled now, and we only have a 24' hybrid. Hopefully, if we can sell it, my glamping experience will become more advanced with a TT or class C. One can dream....

Thats my opinion.
call it what you want to be camping is staying in my Roo but If you have to backpack and hike in to be called camping I will stay in what I call primitive camping and that's staying in a motel with BW tv and no pool When ever someone brings up the word glamping I turn a deaf ear and wont recognize that word

For me, glamping is:
having this RV and towing it wherever we feel like going
staying dry when it is wet
staying cool when it is hot
staying warm when it is cold
escaping the stress of home
and being totally comfortable while we do it.

That definition is going to vary with just about everyone.
Serious Backpackers think we are all glamping!

X2- Well said. When it's raining, I feel bad for the people around me who are huddled in their tents.
I'm enjoying my memory foam bed and satellite tv.
I love having my own clean bathroom with me wherever I am.
I can pull over in my rv and take a nap whenever I get tired.
I can easily grab a cold drink or nake a cup of coffee
I can travel easily with my dogs.

I've never used the term 'glamping' in my life.
