What is your favorite RV gaget, or item . . .

We are just finishing loading up our trailer for the season and have been on the hunt for useful items and gadgets. The RV sales catalogues have been confusing, and expensive. So I thought I would just you all what your favourite latest gadget or item you have bought that has made life easier in your RV.

For the record, my favourite item so far is a 5x7 woven polypropylene nylon mat that we bought from Walmart for outside the trailer. It is soo easy to clean and very light weight.

I just replaced our sewer hose with a Rhino Flex hose. Works great and I like it better than the normal types of hoses for the way it compresses down and stays that way to be stowed. Yeah, a sewer hose isn't glamorous but this one sure has made my life easier at the RV dump.

We also really are liking our Starlights automatic porch lights.

The electric tongue jack has to be at the top of my list. I also like the screen door protector and handle. The handle makes it easy for the grand kids, or anyone else, to close the door without having to lean out to grab the original handle.



We also bought the game Ladder Ball. Everyone really enjoys playing it. Here's a link to the game on Wal Mart's site.

I bought mine from my dealer for my previous TT. I had them swap it out with the hand crank that came on my current TT.

I've bought several items online from RV Wholesalers. Free shipping on orders of $125 and above. Just another place you might check.

My little 12v cigarette socket inverter.
I use it to power my LCD tv when we don't have shore power.
Also can use it to charge razor, cell phone, camera batteries.
Mainly for TV when we don't have shore power.

You can get them for under $25
I know some folks claim they don't produce true sine wave and
can damage electronics but I have had 2 trailers and 2 TVs
and no problems at all.

After years of spending 20-minutes plus, trying to light those silly propane heaters with a stick wedged between the casing to depress the pilot switch & endless burnt fingertips from matches or BBQ lighters .... usually with a mag-light between my teeth (and it always seems to be raining or windy when I need to light it) ... I can finally light the thing in under 10 seconds by myself one-handed.

I love the MaxxAir 800 vent cover for high speed fans!
Love to run that fan rain or shine!

I love the Wingman digital TV antenna thingy too. Makes the stations come in better on the normal TV antenna.
