What kind of window treatments are best?

In our camper that we just purchased, there are no blinds of any kind at all except behind the stove there are mini-blinds. There are only thin curtains with tie-backs, even in the bathroom window. I was wondering what the best thing would be to put on the windows for privacy and something that would keep the hot sun out in the summer but also let the air flow through.

We have a type of blind in our Flagstaff that it is two halfs, pull down the first half and it gives some privacy and if you keep pulling it is a thicker piece and makes it a night shade for privacy and controls light. They work great and are easy to clean. Bathroom we have mini blinds, they are never open anyway. We also have the decorative materal that is tied back and the valance over the window.

The best one in the market are MCD ones. However, they are more expensive.
