How about being elected governor? That would probably count.

I count them whether I spent a day/night or drove through. Been to 42 of 50 states but will never see Alaska or Hawaii unless they finish the bridge. Goal is to make the other 6 in lower US . Later RJD

We spent a summer in North Carolina, and we went up the Blue Ridge Parkway to Skyline Drive in Virginia for a couple miles to take a more convenient road to get to Mt. Airy,,,aka Mayberry in N.C. Wasn't in Virginia for more than 20 minutes, but I counted that on the map. Whatever you do isn't cheating,,,,it's just your interpretation as to what you want.

We use the "camped in" for our states. Not even using hotels, but camped in is our standard.

Grumpy
Only 2 ways flying over can count, one is you have to be low enough to p**s off a local flight control tower person or if your fir baby does #2 out the window, http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ges/smilies/ro, http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...gifflblack.gif

I mark every state I've set foot in, even if I didn't camp there.
