Great to get away and not worry about getting a nasty motel room.

Have more freedom to do what we want or not.

Alone time with the kids and grandkids.

Have the dogs with us.

Meeting new people.

Relaxing.

Seeing how crazy people can be.

Alone with several hundred or thousands of our closest friends

I have camped since I was a teenager. Started out tent camping, which I still enjoy. Wife and I camped in pop-ups for many years. We still camped in pop-ups when our children were small, but our family quickly outgrew them. We moved up to a hybrid and finally a TT. We created some great memories with our children as well as teaching them about nature and basic survival skills. My oldest daughter learned to ride a bike on a camping trip. Fast-forward to today, our oldest is now in college three hours away. We now use our trailer to visit her and take in a couple of football games each year. These trips are still creating great memories for our family. Our daughter still gets excited when we tell her we are coming to visit. We have two more years before she graduates and the camping trips with her will likely end. These family camping trips make it all worthwhile for me.
