woke up to a blamy 8 degrees today, high should be about 16 but they say high 30's this weekend, 2 inch's of snow on the ground looks like a good weekend to put up the snow fench and get the plow on the truck stock pile the shop with fire wood and get ready for coyote hunting

Spent a lot of time in Wever on the Pieper farm down in the bottoms harvesting corn with an experimental Axial Flow Combine. Pieper also raises pigs. Guess where they empty the "Honey Wagon"?

The coldest morning yet here 22 degrees, I have lived here over 10 years and it has never been this cold. They keep saying it will break, yesterday high was like 34 with a wind chill making it below freezing all day. The snow is pounding up north, with the lake effect snow, I hope we are not in for a cold winter again. Last year was the coldest. On the weather channel they said this is the coldest Nov. since 1972. First time I have ever winterized here, and now I'm glad I did. 30 degrees in the Panhandle yesterday. So northern Florida is also being hit. Stay warm my friends.

14 degrees and starting to snow. 5 Miles away they have 60 inches, we have 2. Lake effect snow is not pretty.
