What works well for cleaning the slide room seals?

I know there are slide specific products to condition/lube the seals on the slides.
Anyone have recommendations for a good product for cleaning them?
Would bleach and water be safe?

Some of my seals seem discolored, and in a couple of spots actually look like there is mold/mildew on them….

(maybe just me worrying about the small stuff too much…)

I'm kinda a skeptic when it comes to "RV" products, often just household products at twice the price. My seals are simply rubber and I'd be tempted to use what I use on the rubber roof, which is spic & Span powder. (Surprised? It's exactly what the rubber roof manufacturer recommends!) http://www.alphasystemsinc.com/royalepdm.htm

I'd be a little leary of bleach, although a small amount is sometimes recommended by A&E for claaning awnings. In fact the best product for cleaning awnings is Tide liquid with bleach alternative - which might be good for your seals too.

welshman599,

Thanks for the response and confirming link!
Don't think we have any Spic & Span in the house now, if I get a chance maybe I'll pick some up, and give it a try.
