Lots of good suggestion have aready given but I would add a RV surge protector to the list of ideas.

I would take the DW out for a very nice dinner and a show. Because, if she didn't say OK, there would be no new RV in the driveway!

A little hard to cash this one in at a RV outlet though.

It's amazing how quick you can burn through $200 buying stuff for you camper. I though I had all the basics I needed, like drain hoses, wheel chocks etc., but I have spent over $300 in the last two weeks ordering/buying things for the camper. Here's my list of extras that I have bought. 50amp exntension cord, another 25' fresh water hose. fridge fan, knife safe, scissor style wheel chock, door push/pull bar, inside door opener kit, mud dauber guards, awning wind clips, decrative light hangers. All are basically extra doodads that I can live without, but are nice to have.

Get the basics and keep a note pad and favorite camping accessories catalog in the camper, and make a list as you take your camper on it first few trips.
