I am very lucky. I will be at Trumbo Navy Station, Key West. The base is having a 4th of July celebration, with BBQ, live band, and game. The best part is being with these military members, and their families. God Bless America.

Staying at the KOA in Watkins Glen, New York with friends. Very pleasant park. Will be here until next Wednesday hoping to avoid the worst of the "drive home" traffic.

Murelene and I are heading north to my step-sisters place in Cross Village for an extended family get together. Gonna be dry camping for the weekend but dry camping in a Sunseeker ain't all bad. . Her place is about 30 miles southwest of the Mackinac Bridge.

We take our bikes wherever we go, This Weekend we plan on riding the "Tunnel of Trees" which is Michigan 119 and runs alongside Lake Michigan from Cross Village to Harbor Springs.
It is rated One of the ten best motorcycle roads in the nation.

We tried driving it in Murelenes Equinox last October but gave up before we even started, We were up north for a fall color tour in Mid October. We headed down from Mackinaw City and stopped for lunch at the Leggs Inn, when we came out there wa 4" of icy snow on the ground and the "Tunnel of Trees" was pretty much impassable.

The road is a lane and a half with no centerline and scores of trees with various colors of paint on them courtesy of vehicles. The road is risky at best for a large car and a person would be down right crazy to take their motor home down it.
