I'll second the 3m. They make 2 kinds, a general purpose one and a serious one. The heat gun on low r a hair dryer to remove the sticker with the 3m or finger nail polish to remove the sticky..

Used some WD40 and Mineral Spirits today and it worked great. Thanks again for all of the suggestions
