Most dealers here in CT are pretty useless.

And here I bought from a wholesaler after hearing they are not very helpful, and they bent over backwards for months to instantly and accurately answer my every question.....

What dealer was this? You can private message me to keep it quiet here. Any help would be appreciated!

I ordered my unit in February and it was delivered to their dealership in April and my wife and I picked it up on April 30th. I negotiated a very fair price as I did price the unit at a dealer in NJ and they were slightly higher. Mike explained everything about the camper to us during the PDI and we were not rushed. Custom Camper is a two and a half hour drive from our home on Long Island but it's worth the trip. If you PM me I'd be happy to discuss and answer any other questions.

All the best and have a safe 4th.

Thanks so much for your help! I spoke with Suzy today and we will probably move forward with ordering next week. I would LOVE to have my new unit before mid September to go on a couple of shake down trips before we store it for the winter! I like the vibes I get from them. They seem like nice people.

They are lovely people you should not have any problems. I got the same vibe you did that's why I travelled from LI to purchase my TT. What unit are you looking at?

Yes. Get a selling price, trade in value and try to make a deal. If you can't get the price you want, or options, then leave. They'll often call you with a better offer. Of course if you like the first offer, go for it. Good luck.

No wonder quality control is down there selling them so fast and the people can't wait to throw money at them . most finance costs more then just interest at first . then the lump payment goes to interest in the beginning . so if i didn't have to i would not finance . . take your time don't be in a rush . if your itching to spend money and get a unit asap you'll pay for it
