No, the Diamond Package doesn't include the 50 amp service or the second air conditioner or prep. Those are separate options.

If any of you have RVed in SE Texas in the summer in a 38 foot fiver without two ACs, I feel sorry for you. It takes both of my ACs running all day in Livingston, TX to keep it cool. I can't even guess what it would be like with only one 13,500 BTU AC.

as bad as you all make it out to live in the south, Texas mainly in this thread
then why do IT, why do you all live there?
why not live up here in gods country
where you get the best of both worlds in the summer Hot high humidity let me tell you how much humidity all this corn puts out
in the winter you get to freeze your you know what off.
I traveled the states for 16 years for work, a spent 2 years in southern Florida not sure why any body wants to live there you have hot and crowded, never spent any time in texas in the summer i was always there in the winter pleasant place to be.
spent several years in Mississippi must be like texas months of no relief
and now back home in gods country make the best of were your at. just have fun doing it

I lived in Tx for a year. Winter is nice, that's why people go there. As for the summer... ya gotta like hot! Met a lotta nice people there, really miss the Tex-Mex food and the BBQ brisket most

muddyrode, When I moved to Florida the population of the town I lived in was 2200. Cost of living was cheaper, and no state taxes to name a few. Now 30+ years later, it is to crowded, and the older I get the heat affects me badly.

This one of the biggest things folks forget about. I may not live in Texas but here in GA you better have two airs also especially if you have three or more slides. You now have added more sq ft to cool. Most dealers here in the south install the up grade ac and most all Diamond packages are 50 amp and duel ac. Later RJD

One factor yet to be mentioned is personal preference regarding indoor temperature. I like it about 72 in the RV during the day and 67 at night. I have 3 ACs on my Trilogy 5th wheel and they work hard to keep me cool. On 115 degree days here in Oklahoma they can keep me at about 80 during the day. I'd put a fourth one on if I felt the RV could handle it. I am very thankful I have the three running!
