Is there a better time to buy a new TT?

Some say rv shows, some say winter, if you wait a few months a buy when the 19's come out it would give you an extra year of value down the road when you sell. Ive bought new campers that were one or two years old before at deep discount off the currant ones. If you do research and shop around there is prob not really a better time

The best time to buy was a few years ago when the economy sucked. The RV industry is booming right now so the dealers are less desperate to make a sale.

The best time to buy is when the Magic Three coincide.
One, you can afford it.
Two, you find the unit that you want and can live in.
Three, you find it at a place that will treat you right (or sell it at a very very low price, or both)

Fall is when dealers now have inventory, that will sit since most buyers don't want to buy a new one just to let it sit all winter. The dealers will have to maintenance on them to get them through the winter. So this inventory won't sell and will cost money for upkeep.
since the new models will be arriving in early spring, the dealers need room for them but winter is the worse time for sales.
So fall is the last chance dealers have to get rid of old inventory before winter hits.

We bought our tt used in February
But we had planned to buy a new one and found what we liked at the rv show
But the dealer there rubbed us wrong so we found another that had a non bunkhouses
So we went to look at it and found the used one for half the price of a left over or new one. They were making deals on all the used ones to make room for the new ones on the way

Absolute best advice so far. I bought in mid-june and paid tip dollar for mine. The dealer didn't lower the price all season. At first i felt like i had been had. Now, the 2018's are marked up $2000 more than I paid and the dealer still wont budge; however, nothing has changed from 17 to 18. I don't feel too bad now.
If you're happy with the trailer, be proud of it and that you can afford it. If I waited for the "right price" I would have missed out on 19 Nights and 1800 miles of awesome travels last year!

Best time to buy is anytime you find a good deal. The internet makes nationwide shopping a breeze. Where I live, fall/winter is the worst time to buy as that is when hunting is in high gear and I swear all the dealers raise prices. Summer seems to bring lots of sales as it is just too damn hot to even think about camping . So the best time depends on where you are. But again, search nationwide and don't worry about the season.
