Where can I get this valve

It is a 2006 Thor Summit 22RB. I am guessing it was installed as an aftermarket piece? Any reason why somebody would installed this? It does have an outside shower in the rear.

The cold water valve leaks when I turn the city water line on. Just slow drip, but I like to replace. Note: above is the tub in the restroom.

It looks like a clamp is holding the valve/hose together.

Menards, Lowes, Home Depot in the plumbing Dept uner PEX fittings you should be able to find a valve to replace it. You will have to put on a new clamp also, but a side cutter will sinch taht together.

Thank you. Do you think this was an aftermarket installed? I am sure you know this, but I forget to state these valves are plastic like.

Those are the low point water drains and were factory installed.

That would be 1/2 inch pex tubing, and that is not a clamp but a crimp ring. No clamp will hold it. You need a new crimp ring, and a special tool to crimp. The valve will also need a male barb on one end, to go in the pipe. Lowe's / Home Depot will rent you a tool.

Whoops, ya thats right - crimp ring-- Had a senior moment-- but i have used a large wire cutter to pull the crimp ring together, but i did go buy the tool, these fittings and crimp rings come in handy in a lot of uses..
and yes, Lowes or Home Depot will rent you the tool.

Dam. I am trying to avoid the new tool purchase!

I went to Home depot and saw a copper valve that you can slip the pipe in (no crimp tools, etc). I was curious and tried it myself and couldn't pull it out .

So for the PEX, I can just use my pvc cutter? I am thinking of just cutting a piece away and buy the slip on valve. The copper was a little heavy for my taste though for something hanging

You can buy valves and fittings that do not require the crimp ring. They will work on pex tubing and have a compression type nut that will hold them on. They also have a insert barb made on them that goes inside the pex tubing. You can cut the tubing with a hacksaw, just make a straight cut.

I used the 3 way valves to make a bypass around the onboard water filter, now I can bypass it and winterize. Just have to empty the water out of the filter.

I purchased the valves on line from Dyers RV. You local RV store may have some in stock.

I notice the barb fitting too. For the barb, do you need the crimp ring?

The guy at Home Depot barely knew his stuff.

I'm sorry, but how hard is this? My low water drains had caps, and I got tired of finding tools. One trip to Home Depot, two plastic valves, a pack of crimp rings, and two hour tool rental, less than $25, even counting gas for both trips. Sorry, but I hate to see people spend so much time and effort trying to patch something when it is cheaper, and quicker to do it right. Shark Bite fittings work, but they are high, and don't like the vibration. I keep a couple in case something breaks while camping, not to install on a camper and leave. Just my two cents, do it right, and be done. PM an address if you like and I will send you my old fittings with caps. You will still need the crimp rings and tool though.

Only if your going to crimp it.

Get the one that just slides over the pex and holds tight.

You do NOT need the crimp ring or the special tool to use the valves with the barb and nut. They do not come in colors they are white only. Just cut your old valve off, slide the new nut on the outside of the tubing, then the valve barb will insert into the tubing, tighten the nut and you are done.
