Where have I been

Well to make it public. I have been very busy doing my job and at the same time trying to get a promotion. Well the hard work paid off two weeks ago I have the new job as the EHS (environmental health and safety) director for the company I work for.

ahhh things will be great right?

Wrong, I have no team (they quit when they did not get the position i guess) right now and I am working crazy to fill positions and help/improve the safety program.

I am here in and out everyday and I thank everyone for there support and comments on this site.

We are building a great site and I thank you for your time!!!!

To the mods and admins

Mike, congratulations on the new position. It is a shame the rest of the group could not accept it, but thats life. You can fill the positions with whom you wish.

This site is going to work out great. It will take some time of course, but the seeds are there and it will continue to grow. I am around most of the time to keep an eye on things and am in and out throughout the day when I get a few minutes at work to see how things are going.

Again, congratulations.

Kim

Mike, I send my congratulations on the new position also. Keep your head up high.

The site is doing great in the little time it's been up. It has already been a big help to some of the members.

And, "You're Welcome".

Mike, Congratulations. Look on the bright side. Everyone who will now be working for you will also be trained by you. Ergo - there is no one left who feels cheated, or that they know more that you do, or who will be passive aggressive and undermine your authority. Yeah, a lot more work for you right now, but in the long run... Just hang in there. Someone once told me that change is good. Besides, doing a good and effective job of gluing everything together is a fast-track way to get notice and approval from the powers that be.
