Hi Guys and Gals,

Donna and I have been hanging out down in Homossasa, Fl for the past month.
You know how it is when you are retired... Homossasa is pretty much contiguous with Crystal Springs and is located on the Gulf coast about 60 or so miles North of Tampa.

This is a nice area to spend a few winter months if you can get away. This is the "high season" so monthly lot rentals in a nice facility run around $350 for a full hookup (plus electricity.) Note that staying in this area is dirt cheap compared to lesser facilities on the East coast of FL. It is also a much less frenetic area. Lots of things to do and see, many of them to do with wildlife and, of course, manatees. Need I mention that the fishing and fresh seafood are great? Right now the season is what I would equate to early spring back in VA. The daytime temps are around 70 and some azaleas and such are blooming. It sure beats the cold, sleet and snow we left behind in Virginia.

Oh well, gotta go now. The "q" is lit and waiting for that big ole porterhouse that has been marinating since noon, and mamma just finished making our gin and tonics. I just got one of those "looks" from Sweet Thing and must now retire to the patio to cook her dinner while basking in the balmy, perfumed zephyrs.

Sure guys, rub it in. We are suppose to get 6" to 8" of snow tonight with blowing snow and visability near zero. Temps are not bad, 31 f here right now, normal temps are highs of 32 f lows of 12 f. I would dearly love to move south, 4 years or so I will be full timeing down there this time of year. For now I will just have to stick it out up here, another month or so I can consider getting the toys and RV ready for spring.

Well the temperatures finally rose above freezing here in Virginia for the first time is about a month. Ok so we had a few days when it made it to 40, but the wind was blowing hard so who is counting. We have had the last two days near 60 and now the winds are back gusting to 40 mph and and we are going back down again. We could actually use a little snow as it has been dry around here. Not good for the spring growing season.

North must not have gotten quite as much. My in-laws live up by Lutsen, MN in the Arrowhead and didn't get a darn thing.

Southeast Minnesota got over a foot over the last day or so. We are at 8 inches and supposed to get 1-3 more pretty much over the southern regions - more in the south. So they'll probably wind up close to two feet of snow.

I'm very glad that this year I stored my TT inside!

Well, it's 65 and sunny here at home.

I'm re-loading the TT gear( previously remover to send to the factory). Just eat a sandwich and had a cool beverage(Bud-Lite).
I figure it'll take me at least 8 cool ones to complete my job.

Thanks, wasn't able to find out what year it was from the website.... Scary amount of snow though... makes a guy appreciate a 'mere' 60 cm.
