CA state park reservations change coming Aug 2017

There's a change coming for making reservations for CA state parks. Currently reservations are through ReserveAmerica but CA is rolling out a new system. The changes sound nice so hopefully it works out well.

Where Should I Post This Where People Will See It?

This should be of interest to many Forum members, however I doubt where I posted it will show up on many people's radar. It did not make the daily list of new posts.

I'm thinking that you did not see it on the list of new post being that you wrote the post.

Which forum did you originally posted the information in?

I almost forgot about this until a couple of days ago. However, I did not know about the disable discount program change. Thanks to CA Fisherman's message I'm taking care of exchanging my disable discount pass. Here's the link to that thread: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ns-137295.html

It was originally posted under useful links.
A forum I'd never heard of until today!

Maybe it could be moved and "bumped" in a more general forum....
after that we've done all we can do. People either see it or they don't.

I don't use "daily list of new posts"... but I DID just see this pop up in "» Recent Discussions" on the right side of the full site on my laptop.

Since it seems to be specific to California why not put it in ON THE ROAD / TRAVEL CHAT in the Western Section.

Follow up- moving this thread to the General Community Discussion forum and then maybe merging with a similar thread already there....

"New Posts" is located in the middle of the green banner (full web site).

I went ahead and made it a sticky (temporary). If there is a better forum or area we can move the thread but the best bet is with keeping it live with ongoing feedback.

Look like we both were working on this at the same time.

KyDan - Your suggestion sounds good to me. Based on how we all view the site differently I don't think there is a single best location.

Oh, yes... I've seen that - don't often use it because once I've looked at a post in the list, it leaves that list (as you said, that's the reason the OP didn't see his own post in the list - because he looked at it when he posted it).

The phrase "daily list of new posts" threw me. The New Posts button you pointed out has nothing to do with Daily.
