Where to store fishing gear?

DH and I have rods and reels we take with us. This time I stored them upright in a basket next to the entertainment center. That basket tipped over and had I not checked before extending the sliders when we got home we'd have had pricey toothpicks.

I'm thinking some sort of hooks/retainers up high on the back wall of the pass through would work.

Ideas?

4" pvc tubes mounted under the trailer with screw in caps like where I stow the ground rugs.

I break my rods down and store them in the overhead cabinets above the couch.

This may not be an option for you,but maybe it can give ya an idea. I installed some cabinets,in the garage of our toy hauler,so I used an old back window gun rack for pick up. Installed it on bottom side of upper cab, then when I made the tops for the cabs, just practical board, with bead liner sprayed on, I drilled holes in an extra overhang. Attached Velcro to both , upper, and lower, and vaulaha !! It also works for, hunting rifles/shot gun, walking sticks, brooms .....there is also use for the other rack, in a closet, or such.Click image for larger version

You could mount the pvc tubes in the roof of the basement also or on a rack similar to this.

Shower...DUH...of course!

That's perfect for short term.

I'm thinkin' OC's "fix" is the best long term....underneath or in the pass through.

thanks y'all!
