We tried the one at Riffe Lake I think it was back in about April or May. It was a nice park but in the slow months they only have one loop open and it was in the trees and had very few sites that were level. In the winter when we find ourselves inside we want to be able to get our satellite TV tuned in, can't do that in the tree cover. The really nice looking loop had nice big pull thoughs less cover and was closer to the boat launch. We were looking for places we could launch our bass boat and keep it close by or in the same site when we pull it out.
I haven't tried the others yet but do have plans to. They all look so nice online. We usually try and do a few fall/winter/early spring trips when no one else is out to check these places out and just explore. We really do want to check these others out for places to take the boat and fish that are near home.

We do a lot of bass fishing in Riffe.
The FIL has a 99 ZX202 as well.
Hope to see you out there sometime. We will be at Mossyrock weekend after LaborDay.

Awesome boats. We are headed for Lk Roosevelt 3rd week of Sep. to meet up with some other friends who also bass fish and have a Ranger. Will be at Keller Ferry for about 4 days then off to some other hole we haven't decided on yet. Perhaps we will see you out there some time.
Tight Lines!

Well 1 more sleep & I'm heading for IN tomorrow morning. I probably won't have any internet @ the CG, so I'll be reporting on our trip nest week.
I hope everyone has a safe long weekend & the weather co-operates, especially for those along the US east coast & Canadian maritimes.

We are new Rockwood owners and new to the 5th wheel world. Glad to be in both of those worlds.
And this is our third camping trip since the end of July. The Labor Day LONG weekend, we are taking our 3 grandsons with us to Clear Lake, IA.
We are excited about the new camping experience and our the grandkids joining us.

Crimson Lake Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada
brochure
The downside is that we were too late in registering to get power or water.

Between back to school shopping and stocking up (Sam's Club and Costco) while in the States on our last couple of trips I've decided that staying in a Walmart lot costs $200 a night.

We like to wait till after Labor Day like others, but this year I pulled the trigger early and left today. Headed to the Smoky Mountains. The CG I am in had one spot left. They will have 35 checkouts in the morning. It will be fun up here this week..!! Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend..!
