That doesn't let us "general public" get to meet you.

Is Beth looking for a new 45 ft rig to match the Kenworth abler?

We are planning on going to the show on the 13th. Staying at Jonestown KOA if anybody is going to be in the area.

Roger, we will be in Harper's Ferry/Gettysburg on the 11th and 12th; then if Laura feels OK we will drive to Hershey Saturday (13th) morning for the day.

Members will be there different dates, so why don't we do this:

Everyday at a certain time (12 noon ??) members meet at a certain place (maybe to 1 side of the main entrance in the arena) and see who shows up ?? We might need to yell out "Frog" or something to get other's attention........hopefully we won't be arrested for acting strange.

Then as a group, we can figure out where we do lunch.

Or we could wear some type of identifying ID (some type of Frog sticker ??) to alert other FRF members.

I will made an ID sized copy of either my FRF bumper sticker, or 1 of these:

Name:   FROG2.JPG
Views: 128
Size: 20.3 KB

I have blank badge holders that will pin to a shirt.

I just remembered I have a 2012 Frog Rally shirt......I can wear that 1 day.

As for where to meet: I suggest 1 of the top sections of the Giant Center. How about right behind the show office (Section 102) ?? http://www.prvca.org/Portals/0/Giant...RAW%20copy.pdf
Looks like a entrance to that section between the Show Office and the men's restroom, but if not it should be easy to get to by walking around from 1 of the other sections.

Meeting inside will keep us dry if raining, and some AC if it is hot out. We can then decide our next move for lunch.

We will be staying at the TT Hershey. Planning on going Friday. Last time we went on the weekend it was mobbed at show and we had to park far away in a muddy field since Hershey kept the lots for the parks use not the rv shows.... We swore we'd not do another weekend again. Weekdays are more enjoyable and empty!

Plus, Wednesday is "Senior (55 and older) day" with 1/2 price admission.

There is also a $1 off coupon on the RV Show Website: America's Largest RV Show - Public Info

Funny, the most recent satellite picture of the Giant Center was taken during 1 of the past RV Shows:

Last year we went sunday and had no issue finding parking on the large paved lot. The previous time we went on a saturday and got there around 1 and was in the field across the road. That was fun but even with my car, I had no issue with the mud just have to drive slowly and watch for potential soft spots. Since my plans changed and I cannot take the new sanibel up tomorrow for warentee work, I am going to take it as part of the show and find a campground nearby with a site. There are enough in the area I that I am sure I can find one.

The area campgrounds fill up quickly around show time. I am staying at the East Harrisburg Campground, but they had to squeeze me in, providing I get out of Dodge by Friday.

I called everyone other then the TT hershey and the RV park just down the way. Everyone had a spot or 3 for a smaller trailer. I ended up making a reservation at Sun Valley near Maple Grove raceway. Its about 40 minutes away from the show, but also closer to Stotzfus which was the dealer I bought my unit from. We are leaving late afternoon on Friday for the campground, relax for the evening. Metting friends and get to the show around noon timeframe. Then back to the campground to relax and drop off the RV on Sunday so they can address the items I have listed.

This was my 1st time going to the Hershey RV Show (went today) and it was not too crowded and easy to get around. Lots of "big rigs" and not much in the 21' - 24' TT (that were not 'tent ends')....and while it's BIG, I just wasn't real impressed with the overall inventory selections. But that's just IMHO. (what is amazing is the planning that must go into the set up!)
