Going stir-crazy here sitting in the house. Already have 14 nights booked for the upcoming season. Got the big vacation planned and booked and a few weekend getaways. More to come but still waiting on spring!

We have a trip planned the end of this month with some friends. It'll be nice camping while it's a litttle cool out.

We are in the planning stages of our 3000+ mile trip back to Wisconsin in the spring. Lots to do in the time available.

Then, shortly after that we are hoping to make the UFO Festival in Roswell.

I am for sure. AND it's been less than a month since we came home and parked the ROO! If I'm lucky it will be camping time for us by mid March. Seems like such a long time away.

One of the FEW nice things about living in Florida is that our camping season never ends. We're headed to Hillsborough River State Park on Saturday for 10 days of camping and a couple of days at the Tampa RV Supershow.

We can't wait either!!!!!!!

We are having a 365 saq Sandpiper being built and we can't wait till it gets here. Bad thing is we will still have to wait till first week of April to go camping! But if all goes well there will be a week trip to Myrtle beach and 10-12 trips to Pigeon forge for long weekend outings. I am considering taking the wife and kids down the week after they get out of school and letting them stay for a month or so. We will have two other families camping with us during that month at different times for a week. Plus with the bigger camper some of our family will be able to come and join us also for a few weekends. I'll be able to stay the first two weeks then I will travel back and forth every few days.

Same weather pattern here in Souther California and heading out in the morning to a local campground. Hopefully I can get into my site early because it's going to 87 tomorrow.

Some days I wish that we parked our TT in a storage lot somewhere else, because it KILLS ME, seeing it in my backyard with a weather cover over it....

I'm going to Cottonwood at Racho Jurupa Park in Riverside CA. There are two campgrounds there but Cottonwood is the new section. It was where I stayed for my first outing in the trailer. The picture under my user profile was taken at Cottonwood/Rancho Jurupa.

Rancho Jurupa Park – Home « Riverside County Regional Park & Open-Space District

Rancho Jurupa Park
Click on a campsite for picture. Note - there are some dirt only sites on the far row for tent camping - see website for actual site numbers.

There's a lake at the older campground (next door to each other - same park entrance)

PS: Sometimes I run into not being able to see if a site is currently available due to the online restrictions. If necessary try to out smart the website by selecting day far enough out for online reservations and then clicking on the 3 month calendar to see if site is reserved for a earlier arrival date.

And the Cottonwood section has the best restrooms and showers that I have seen in a campground.

Yes, full hooks, cable TV and free Internet access. Also have washers & dryers. I believe the showers are free too. If you have small children check out the water play area. You could walk to the lake in the other campground if you wish but it's not the shortest walk.

On the 4th of July you can see the firework show from the campsites.

Heads up: I think there is another campground with the same name "Cottonwood" - maybe in the mountains. The Cottonwood I am referring to is in Riverside Co.
