Who knew

DW spilled some wine on floor near LP detector which set it off. Once cleaned up detector stopped. I would have never thought this would happen. Yes I know it is a sin to waste wine.

We had wine spill In our Lance camper and the detector never worked right after that kept going off. Had to change it.

I thought wine only gave off CO2 while fermenting. This must have been a very young wine.

CO2 is not detected by the detectors. If it did go off with CO2, heavy breathing could cause falses. But I don't want to go down that rabbit hole.

CO (carbon monoxide) which is poisonous, and propane is what they sound off on. MAYBE the detector hit on the alcohol if it was a very strong wine and almost on top of the detector..

My Co detector goes off anytime I use the "Invisible Glass" brand glass cleaner in the kitchen area. Pain. -
