It’s currently 70 degrees here in St. Petersburg, FL. The only time I saw more than a few flakes here was in January, 1977. I was in college in Tampa and we had an inch to two inches of snow that covered the ground. The guys were streaking and the girls in my dorm from Miami were going nuts, because it was the first time they ever saw snow.

Clear, dry, no snow in the sky or on the ground. That is a little different here, generally we have at least a few inches this time of year. Still, it was a Merry Xmas! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Here's hoping that you all had a healthy and happy Christmas. Here in northeastern Ontario it is most definitely white. I don't remember a year when the snow came so early and stayed. Christmas Eve and day were brutally cold - we woke up Christmas morning to -25 and I hope Santa had his long johns on!

We had the 1st snow on Sept. 13, which is normal and it's been white since November 1st. At least it's not as cold as it was last year, I think it was around -40C last Christmas now it's only -14C, T-shirt weather

.....and for our American 🐸 friends....

-40C is the same as -40F, no conversion necessary.

That’s too damn cold no matter what scale you’re on.

White Christmas

Edmonton, Alberta ......... Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without snow on the ground! Yesterday, December 25, it started snowing in the late AM and continued until late. We accumulated 4-5”. And today, we have more flurries. Currently a balmy -12 degrees C.
Have a wonderful New Year!
