Wow, there seems to be a forum for everything.

I bought my Coleman gas lantern back in the early 70s, so that puppy is about 40 years old.....about the same age as my Coleman Stove.

I use the single mantle propane Coleman lantern pretty often. I can't remember how many years I have had it. It's very bright and dependable. Before that, I used the double mantle Coleman fuel or white gas unit.

That's when I got my lantern and stove and they still go on every camping trip.

Have a gas one, close to 40 yrs old, given to us as a wedding gift.
Works great, use it constantly .
