Nope I love Pics.also! I was on RV.Net for a long time and the Mods would spend More Time "Chewing Members out" about the way they Posted Pics than "Making it Easier to Post Pics"! One of the Main reasons I came over here" FRF" it is Easier and a Lot Friendlier Site as Well! Youroo!!

I have always wanted to do that with pictures. Every time it came down to it, I thought that I have not gone anywhere special or my site is not worthy.

I have seen postcard photos here and where I have been just does not seem worthy. We have decided (I) that we are going to start taking trips outside of my newbie comfort zone.

Perhaps I will get the DW to chronicle our trips with photos and while she is making memories with the grandkids, I can get stuff done.

For me, I love the non-postcard worthy photos of people and their families.

I won;t say I only post the post card worthy, but I am not quite ready to be posting a whole lot of the "family" stuff.

Pictures are a very nice way to tease others into action. I will post some next week. 10:45 pm here now. Alaska does not "celebrate" daylight savings time. No need for it when you get 21 hours of sunlight each day!

We have travelled through KY, OH, MI, WI, MN, SD, WY, MT, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon and now AK.

We are in Anchorage, AK. today, will be for 3 more days. Will stay in AK. another 4-5 weeks then head south through the Yukon and BC to Vancouver. South along the WA, OR, CA coasts to San Fransisco and head east towards home.
Left KY. on May 6, arrived in Tok, Alaska on July 4. Just taking our time. Enjoying people as well as places. 8290 miles driven as of today.
We have seen some beautiful and awesome sites in both the USA and Canada. We have downloaded hundreds of photos to enjoy and share.

Complaints? Nope. Our TT has held up well and the Alaska Highway will deal you some rough days. If you desire to come here, it is absolutely worth the time and expense.
Travel safe

We camped at Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka, FL two weekends ago and really enjoyed it. The spring are beautiful and the Rock Springs run was fun to canoe. It is a narrow and shallow run that twists and turns. The run dumps in to the Wekiva Ricer, which is also beautiful. The Wekiva eventually dumps into the St. John's River and both rivers flow north. We saw a couple of gators and numerous water birds of various types. The second morning out my husband dumped us as we were getting in the canoe -twice. The only good thing about that was that a wet rash guard shirt helps keep you cool as it evaporates. The campground was beautiful and wooded, which kept us cool, even though it was a bit weekend. We have been having temps in the upper 99's for weeks now.

If you are ever in the area, I would suggest you try to camp there. It is now my favorite Florida spring and one of my favorite rivers. Beware, however, that the portage is a long way and downhill on the way down, but uphill on the way back up. Fortunately, we met a camping neighbor who helped us bring it back up with his home made canoe dolly. He made it out if PVC pipe. I would say that us a must for future trips. We did lock up our canoe at the park's canoe outpost overnight, so only had to portage down and back once.

Oakman, personally I have no interest in people's pics or blogs of their trips.
I prefer to discover places on my own.

I do agree with you about discovering places Dan, but are you saying you prefer this forum to be about nothing but questions and complaints? I’d rather read about the fun others are having with their RVs rather than all the negative posts. Maybe I've just been a forum member for too long.

Pic's of other's trip are the greatest. I plan to travel to all of them as soon as the DW quits bringing home a paycheck in four years. Your pictures are my inspiration!

why is it great to post travel pics?????? because for those RVers who are fishermen you will never know where or when to go fishing outside your favorite spots!

I am not a good photographer and my cellphone camera is even worse. I guess I just felt my pics weren't any fun for others to see as they weren't the grand tetons, outer banks, or some other great national place to see. I will try to post some pics after my Bristol trip next month.
