Wife says the RV has to go.....

Sad day, wife said we had to take the RV back. She discovered today that a pizza box will not fit in the fridge and that it was cleary my fault for not having that on the "list of requirements". After some negotiation I don't have to buy a another RV, but I now have a new job of having to put the leftover pizza in a ziplock

Sounds like a reasonable trade off to be able to keep camping.

As with a lot of things in the world of camping, buy a smaller pizza.

Dang, I really wish I had thought to just eat the pizza

Even "suggesting" buying a smaller pizza would be grounds for divorce.

The KOA in Barrie On have a pizza shop at the CG. They will deliver to your trailer.

Just cut the pizza into 6 slices instead of 8 slices and you won't have any pieces left to put in the refrigerator. ;-). Problem solved!!

There are plastic food containers designed for pizza slices that will fit in a RV fridge. I bet your local pizza shop would sell a box in the size that would fit in the fridge to keep the leftover pizza in.

We use ziplock bags too but no longer will let dad help. To save money he likes to cut off the point piece of the slices so that it would fit into a sandwich baggie. Nothing like finding butchered pizza slices along with a bag of "pizza points".

As others here have said, some (most) of the CG's we stay at have a pizza delivery ad in their CG map - never used them.

"Pizza points" - you could be onto something with that - no more crazy than some of the stuff you see today.

Wow I must really need to get out more or at least a little farther! We usually use state, county or coe campgrounds. The idea of pizza delivery to your site is great!!

Two words... Pizza Bread

Most mainstream frozen pizza brands have french bread pizza.... they fit right in the freezer.

In a related discussion - I saw a really cool camping oven at Costco over the weekend. I didn't even stop to look but I'm sure it runs off propane. I did notice that it's big enough for a frozen pizza.
