Windshield on Georgetown leaking

Our windshield on our Georgetown started leaking in the center. We had a mobile repair guy look at it and said that the rubber seal around the windshields had come loose or dried up between the metal and the rubber seal. He resealed it and no more water. Pro Tech out of Clearmont Fl did the job. They also went up on the roof to see if there were any cracks up there. They resealed around the satellite dish, said the dealer was skimpy on the seal. They did a good job. They were reasonable and knew what they were doing. Their located near Clearmont Fl. on rt-27,

We haven't had any leaks but the seal around the window has seperated from the caulk FR used. I used Pro Flex caulk after cutting away the loose caulk to reseal it. I check it occassionally to be on the safe side. As for the roof penetrations I have to say they really did a great job. I check it a couple times a year and it's sealed very well.

Got to wondering the other day if and when we get another broken windshield if our 2 piece could be replaced with the newer 1 piece used on the later 2009s on up. Don't know if the opening is the same or not if the center post is removed.
