Winegard Antenna/tool needed?

Was going to take my antenna off and lubricate it (found some how to videos on You Tube). The videos indicated that there were cotter pins holding the two pins in place. I get up there and have these lock washer things instead.

Do they just pop off or is there a special tool? I assume they are reusable?

Thanks.

The clips are 'e-clips'.

They simply slide off the pin by inserting a straight screwdriver blade (from the side) into the open portion and twisting slightly. They will 'snap' back in place (into a groove in the pin) with a little pressure or by starting the clip into the groove and tapping the edge easily with a small hammer. Reusable thousands of times if you don't bend them.

EDIT:
I lube mine (about twice a year) with spray dry lube WITHOUT ever removing the pins or clips.

When I had one like that, there was a small plastic plug in the base plate for lubricating. The manual said to put a few drops of light oil in it and spray silicone the gear teeth. No disassembly required.
