You may also want to try Sandy Oaks in Beverly Hills. It is between Ocala and Crystal River. Not sure if they have any vacancies but it is a nice quiet park that backs up to the forest and is close to shopping in some good places to eat.

Address: 6760 N Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, FL 34465

I am right up the road from this state park. Beautiful place to stay and not at all far from the Gulf or St. Augustine. It would appear that all of the Daytona parks fill up fairly quickly this time of year as it is their busy season.

This is a nice, quiet park on the East bank of the St. Johns River. Not a bad place to stay at all:

No idea how full they are though.

Thumbs up Winter in Florida

You can try Land Yacht Harbor in Melbourne, FL. A great place. $500/month full hook up. Also can get use of shed on site for extra $10/month. I enjoy the place.

Also at Land Yacht Harbor in Melbourne FL I believe for six months you would pay like $1850 total. Full hookup, near everything 6 miles to the beach.

Enjoy your stay in South Georgia! The Valdosta area provides quite a bit to do, places to eat, etc.

I did look at some state parks but I do require full hookup sites. I will be checking out state parks when we are riding our motorcycles over the entire state!
