winterizing

good morning all! first year doing the trailer thing, do you have to cover the airconditioner with a tarp for the winter season. we do get quite a bit of snow. thanx dernsky

Buy a good trailer cover and cover the entire rig. Covering your RV is by far one of the best things you can do for it while not using it. Camping World is having a big sale on covers right now as we just got a flyer in the mail from them.

X2 what jeeper said. Snow, ice, freeze, thaw, leaves, etc. over several months is brutal for your rig, especially the roof. Covering it in season is a good idea too, but I am not quite that ambitious.
