Winterizing Help Please..

Some issues with winterizing ..
Drained and bypassed hot water heater
-Drained low end lines
-Removed water filter and place empty water bottle in take up volume.
-Blew lines out with compressed air
- Turned switch to "winterize" at bottom of shower
-Placed tube in antifreeze bottle and switched water pump on
-Very slow uptake of AF
-Opened faucets and no pressure for quite a while
-finally pressure out of cold water side--ran until AF came out
=No pressure on HW side
-removed drain plug from HW tank to check and was under pressure and had water wit AF mixed in. How could this be if HW tank was bypassed?

How do I get pressure on HW side to remove water?
Would appreciate any advice---Thanks.

If the HW tank was indeed bypassed-- it wouldn't have had any antifreeze. Think you probably missed the bypass valve?
The best way to winterize the lines is to open one faucet at a time, closing it when the faucet has deep pink color. Same process for all faucets! Don't open the faucets again until you dewinterize.

There are 3 valves in the water heater bypass system. You close the 2 valves that lead into and out of the water heater and then you have to open a valve that allows the antifreeze to flow from the water supply to all of the hot water faucets. If you forgot this valve, you would not get any antifreeze flow to those hot water faucets.

Thank you. I just realized there were 3 valves.

Here’s a basic picture of how the taps look for winterizing and de winterizing
