Wired for solar

Just took delivery of a Wildcat 28RKX. What does "wired for solar" mean? Pre-wired for a control panel? Inverter? Where are these wires and what all are they for?

Thanks.

Is it wires, or is it a ZAmp plug?

ZAmp is a plug for a neat but way overpriced solar panel setup. My guess is that these are comp'ed to FR for the purpose of later selling the aftermarket solar, or perhaps the FR dealers are actually offering the panel kit as an ad-on.

I'm curious if the plug is something ordinary, or if it is a custom plug that only works on ZAmp.

If you look an this page you can see the connector about half way down.
Plug-N-Play Solar Battery Maintainer - Zamp Solar
In my opinion it is a cheap non water proof connector. I have them on the panels I bought but there are corroding from water getting into them. The MC4 connectors are better as they have a gasket to keep the water out.

Same thing on my 2015 Grey Wolf 28bhks. Has a spot right on the outside (door side) that says pre wired for ZAMP. When the salesman showed me it he told me "ya, you can just go out and buy a solar charger that will charge the battery." I thought it was neat until I seen the price. Clicky
