Wireless Speakers?
Curious if any one uses wireless speakers? our speakers do not deliver much sound into our slideout dinette, so we tend to have it louder than we would like. Thought maybe with wireless speakers that we could set in the slideout we might not have to turn it up so loud. I am pretty sure our Genesis is bluetooth enabled. Any thoughts?
Thanks

I use rocketfish wireless loudspeakers (from best buy). They are NOT using bluetooth but trasmit through a small transmitter you plug into the receiver aux output. They work great to a distance of around 100 ft. The transmitter is using a power supply (plugged into 110v) but the loudspeakers can run either using a power supply or batteries.

So here is my solution, We bought a jambox bluetooth speaker ( sounds amazing) naturally the genesis would not pair so bought a bluetooth transmitter($26) that plugs into aux in syncs with speaker and we can now listen to tv,dvd via bluetooth. We can hear so much better with low volume and no wires we can move speaker wherever even outside. Very happy with this solution.

I have a Logitech bluetooth speaker that has great sound. Has rechargeable/replaceable battery pack. I connect it to my phone and carry it around the house, rather than switching stereo systems. Model # is 984-000181.

I think your bluetooth is a RECEIVE only, in other words, I do not beleive it will transmit to wireless speakers. I put a "sound bar w/sub woofer" in our Grey Wolf. Wonderful sound and bass response. Got it from Tiger Direct.

I use the Bose Soundlink. They sound great and will run on ac or battery. Can have great sounding music anywhere with you smart phone or any bluetooth audio device. Also has a minijack so you can connect to your tv. This unit is not cheap but Bose sound quality is great

I got a Jambox for XMas. We love it! Amazing sound from such a small package.

So everyone is clear, there are different Bluetooth specifications and we use the INPUTS for streaming music and hands-free calling.
We do not utilize audio outputs to power bluetooth speakers such as described above so when you say "naturally the Genesis would not pair..." it is in fact natural, but not abnormal. :-)
