Wiring Route

Has anyone wired their TT for solar and not used the refridgerator vent? Or if you have a slide out that contains your refridgerator, did you use the vent anyway and just provide the extra wire for the slide when it's extended?

Thanks,

I have run the solar wires down a vent pipe. Got into the under storage and found a place where the pipe is ABOVE any water that may run through it. Drilled through the side of the pipe at an angle, and fed the wires up to the roof. Then used silicone to SEAL the hole where the wires come out.

Did this on two RVs, and never had a problem. Plus, didn't have to run through any cabinets or walls to get down to where it's close to the batteries. Mounted the Solar Controller on a wall in the storage area, and then wires over to the batteries.
