Withdrawals

This is my first winter season. TT was put away after Halloween, and now I am suffering from camping Withdrawals.... help!

How do you cope through the winter/non-camping season?

I hear you loud and clear. We bought our TT in September and then went on vacation to Ireland. The trip was planned way before we decided to get the trailer, but all we really had time to do was driveway camp. We can't wait for spring!

Yup, you're suffering from CWS (camping withdrawal syndrome) and no, there isn't any app for it. Very common, especially in northern climates. Best you can do is visit this forum often and attend a few camper shows in the spring. It's painful, but you'll make it.

Site 49 at Bluewater Key, Key West, FL. It's a bay front site. As far as we can tell, the tiki hut has a sink, countertop, and closeable sides. We can't wait!

Lots of time spent on camping forums, shopping for items for your trailer (or MH), and trips to rv shows and car shows. Be careful of the rv shows because they lead to wanting another new one that is bigger and nicer than yours in some aspect or another. This then leads to looking at bigger TV. DH has now banned me from the rv shows (I now have 2014 tv and 5er matched to each other's weights.) I got him back by banning him from car shows since we also now have a 2013 camaro for him. so basically there is no cure for the wintertime camping blues.

This sounds like us last year. We found a Wildcat 5er that we loved at the Goshen rally. Six months later we bought the Wildcat and then a new truck to pull the bigger 5er. Now I'm buying $5,000 of toys to go along with it. Am I done trading up yet?

spend lots of time on here and other sites chatting about camping. Do lots of research on campgrounds for next year.
