Wood planks for leveling

What assortment of wood should I have on hand to help level the travel trailer?

I carry two length of 2x8" PT wood bevel cut on the ends long enough for both wheels. I also carry a couple of pieces of 1x8" for finer adjustment. I made some blocks of 4x4 PT (4x8x10" finished) for the front/rear jacks also.

I have 1 x 10s stepped with locking pegs and "legos". Legos fit on the 1 x 10. I have been to some really off level sites, so now I can level probably a good 8+ inches. I haven't experimented yet with my maximum height.

I carry 4 (yes 4) bags of lynx levelers. Won two bags and a set of lynx caps by participating on their Facebook page!! I like them cause they are lighter than wood.

I use a combination of 1X10 and 2X10 for a maximum rise of approx. 7". Three of each thickness with longest length on the bottom and shortest length on the top to create an incline. I like the wider width as it is easier to line up and be sure the tire is fully supported. I went with wood as I had it all on hand and was cheaper than the lego block leveling pads.

So far I have been lucky with level camping sites and the most I have had to use is a single 1X10. In my driveway I use one 1X10 and one 2X10 or two 2X10 depending upon where the trailer ends up.

I also use a couple of PT 2x10s plus Lynx Levelers and stacks of squares cut from PT 2x10s for the stabilizers.

Can't get 1x10s up here in Canada. At least I've never seen them.
