Sorry, I couldn't/didn't find it. That's why I asked. It is a monster!

edit: I went back and saw "cc 38fl". I don't know enough about fivers to get that cc is Cedar Creek. Still learning. Thanks.

Yes we love our Blue Ridge, had and still have a few little things but would definitely by F.R. again. If for anything this site and meeting folks at Niagara falls is well worth it.

(sigh) Been putting off this post, but here goes.....

I previously said yes to this question, but with ours sitting in the back yard with a cypress stump under the tongue (fear of the defective jack failing and slamming it to the ground) I'm beginning to have second thoughts.

See my post above, and there are other problems I posted on a thread under Flagstaffs.

Yeah, it's nice to be able to go to Goshen and get all your issues handled, and have freebies even thrown in, but some of us can't get the time off (and maybe some can't afford the trip) to be able to come away with such good feelings about the brand.

Yeah, I'm sure Goshen costs FR a lot, but look at the hundreds and hundreds of happy campers that come away from there spreading the word about *free* repairs including parts and labor....money can't buy that kind of PR.

Those of us who can't make Goshen have to drag our RVs back to the dealer, then wait weeks and weeks to get it back, *after* we've haggled with the dealers and FR to get poor QC issues resolved....and in our case, on an RV that is only 4 months old.

Sure, some of our issues aren't critical in nature, but if we choose to try to make the repairs ourselves we might find out it voids our warranty.

Just color me discouraged.

Maybe - depends on the condition and the price. We can't afford new and we were lucky with our current MH. It was advertised in our local weekly newspaper and was about 30 miles away.

The folks selling it were the original purchasers and could no longer use it because of medical issues. They had originally funded their purchase with a home equity loan and the asking price was the balance on the loan - about $8K below NADA.

I'm less than enthusiastic about FR's quality around that time. The few things I've had to work on suggest a minimum of engineering and a lot of ad hoc manufacturing - essentially engineering on the fly by the shop-floor guys.

Chances are that this will be our last RV. Expenses are getting steadily worse and the availability of discretionary funds getting less. Our house is 14 years old and various original appliances are giving trouble. In addition to having to replace the RV's fridge earlier this year ($1800 and change), the house kitchen stove went sour a couple of months back ($800 or so to replace) and now the dishwasher has just died (probably another $800). I'm bracing for the 14-year old fridge, furnace and water heater to go south as well!

So, maybe , if we could afford it, we would consider another FR product, but there's not much enthusiasm for it.
