We, too, DID buy from Forest River again, and if/when the time comes, will buy our third RV from them. We've had two in just over two years...not because of any problems, but because we wanted a bigger unit than we originally bought.

We were SO impressed with the level of service that the techs showed at the International FROG rally. I'm sorry you couldn't have seen it. I'm pretty sure it would have made your decision easier.

Yes, every now and then, a unit gets produced that has problems. Based on the quality control inspections that we saw at the Rockwood factory, it doesn't happen often, but if/when it does, Forest River seems to go "above and beyond" to fix the problems...dare I say, even moreso than the dealers do!

They all have issues and shortcomings and while I would buy another FH, that would not stop me from buying something else. If the deal is there, the price is right, and quality is good enough then I would certainly buy.

I do find that the quality varies quite a bit in trailers, even within a brand or model years.

Our last trailer was a Jayco and our current one is a FR Surveyor SP220 Sport. The choice of materials seems a bit less with our FR than the Jayco but we liked the floor plans of FR better than Jayco and you get so much more for your money with FR. The build quality seems ok and we haven't had any problems to speak of so far other than a loose screw here or there, our new trailer being 4 months old now. We would buy from FR again for sure.

If I get another trailer, if my dealer sells it I will by it from them. They have several lines of FR but if they had something else I would look at it also. Im sticking with my dealer more than too a brand for now. But im happy with FR!

I have had my share of problems and FR and PT helped out but my Dealer has been just fantastic.

They have really bent over backwards to get things done and have eaten a 7K set of axles/springs and installed them for free to help with the problems I have had.

Overall though I would say we really like the trailer a lot and we have had good times and great memories in it.

I would by another FR if it were time.

We had an 06 Puma & the only reason we traded was to get a toyhauler so last year we bought a Puma Unleashed.......... Only very minor problems with either (Price was right too) so YES if we would purchase another camper it would be a Forest River
