X2, Tailgater, or Playmaker?

Knowing what you do about your Sat, if you could start over, which would you choose? Also, Wally or other receiver? Anyone with Wally, what is the longest coax you have successfully used?

I once used my 25 and 50 foot lengths together with no issues.

Total antenna coax length was over 150 feet without issues using VIP211K and Wally. The VIP211K is the only one with HDMI, RF (red/yellow/white) and coax outputs. The VIP211Z and Wally have only HDMI and RF outputs. The Wally is the only one that uses an RF remote and that is a big plus as the Wally does not have to be visible for remote functions. I use the Playmaker and have no issues.

The longest I've run is 25 feet coax from the Pathway X2 to the Dish Wally receiver. No issues with either. Benefit of the X2 is the use of both arcs and bigger surface area for reception.

Similar to Bubbles. 150' of RG6 coax with Wally and 211k using a Tailgater. I actually prefer the 211k. No difference in startup time.

Will soon be trading my original tailgater for a King Dome Tailgater with opaque dome and dual connection.

The only problem we have had with the Tailgater is when it is freezing temps. Either have to wait for the temp to warm up or jostle the unit to break it free. So my thinking is with the opaque dome at least I can see if it is frozen

Pathway X2, 211K, at least 150' cable at one time or another without issue as needed.

Pathways X2 with VIP211Z for me

Like Brendon37 said - X2 because of the larger size (better chance of grabbing a signal) and being able to use eastern or western arc satellites. I camp mostly in the midwest (Ohio/PA) and due to trees in the area, I've had to switch to eastern arc many times. I usually use the 25' cable with a VIP211Z without issue. I've used 50' with success also 90% of the time.
