We drove thru a major snowstorm on the way in (stayed at Colter Bay RV park, highly recomend) and had 4" of snow first night there. Even with the snow we had a wonderful time, just cold.
We, too, are planning a Yellowstone trip for June 2012. We are planning to leave Ohio June 2nd and will spend 14-18 days on the trip.
I'm more concerned about weather than the reservations. I've read in several places that it doesn't get too busy until the 3rd and 4th weeks of June. Which makes sense as most kids don't get out of school until the 2nd week of June. I expect it will be cooler and there will be some snow. I just don't know what affect the cold weather will have on the trip and camper.
