The tigers really lost this series on critical errors and horrid bull pen. Miggy being hurt added to that. So again..Go cards!!! Hope you shred Boston. We hate boston.

This is the truth. I can't watch the movie Fever Pitch because of the Cardinals loss in four games in the '04 World Series. I'm hoping we can beat Boston and erase my pain of '04.

I know what you mean. I have a hole in my heart from red wings winning the Stanley cup in 08. While happy we won, I was out of the country and missed all the parades and hoopla. So close with wings and tigers since but the hole remains. Dear God... Please let me go to one more championship parade and party!! Nothing like bringing a whole city together to celebrate!

There's your sign. To heck with world peace, global warming, and hunger. We need to stop baseball before it demoralizes the whole universe.

if they spent any amount of time at least listening to some of the players, they would notice some actually acknowledge who their gifts and abilities come from. a few that immediately come to mind are albert pujols, carlos beltran and adam wainwright has mentioned it on more than a few occasions. im sure here are others, but i know those 3 have for certain.

perhaps they dont wear it on their sleeves in the proper manner according to those who would protest.

on a more positive note, i hope the REAL cardinals show up tonite. i dont know who that was last night.

I have to admit that last night was more than just a little bit demoralizing. We'll get 'em tonight!

I'm no sports addict, but have any of you seen the video/hoopla 'bout the Sox pitcher and the "grease ball" issue?

Looks pretty damning, IMO.

I did, but who knows what it was. None of the umps or Cardinals said anything about it during the game. A minor league coach tweeted about it and then it blew up. Leave it to social media!

The Cardinal Way

On the news last night on Channel 5 (NBC) Art Holliday read his video poem about "The Cardinal Way." It has made the national news and justifiably so. It's a great piece of work. Here's a link to the poem on USA Today as it aired on Television.

You can go to KSDk.COM and click on the sports tabs. In the top news stories click on "Art Holliday pens Cardinals poem."

It worth watching, even for those who aren't Cardinal fans.

the part they didnt show was cindys response to the question ... cindy, what do you think? where she then proceeded to tell all of st louis area that art is talented in so many ways. just one little blurb of a line, and while cool and calm on the outside, she was looking for a hole to crawl into when it hit her that what she said didnt come out like she meant it.

my wife and i almost shot tea out of our noses when she said it.

Yes, Cindy's response was hilarious and they were all still laughing about it as the newscast ended.
