I have a confession to make. When Tony LaRussa retired after the 2011 season and the Cards gave the manager’s job to Mike Matheny I thought it was a HUGE mistake. I felt it was like giving the keys to the Corvette to a sixteen year old kid. I was completely and utterly wrong.
Who would have thought the Cardinal’s General Manager, John Mozeliak, knew more about baseball than me. GO CARDS!!
Ya never know bodzcampers, it might turn out to be the Tigers and Cards again.

stayed up for all of fridays game. glad it ended when it did because we were on the road by 8 sat morning for arthur illinois for a bbq competition. smelled great but they werent selling any from the participants. HUGE letdown, but still had a good time.
listened to todays game on the way home. im sure those behind and around us were wondering what was wrong with with us with all the hand signals and fist pumps in the car.

I hope you are right! That would be awesome. Top of the 8th of our first game with Boston. Leading 1-0 and we have a no hitter going against Boston. Hope we hang on to win....this game and the series! Oh that would be a dream come true, in spite of our Triple Crown being injured.
Go Tigers! We have to meet the Cardinals!!!!
