Hmmmm. Chip storage... I like that and chips. Problem solved. As a bonus...kids won't see my chips. Win. Win.

The last trip we had was rushed(sick grandaughter) of app. 150 miles. I had a pair of pliers and a 10" Cresent stacked up on the "granite" counter top. Left without moving them. Arrived and still on counter and still stacked up. Thank you God.

Arrived home a week later and discovered DW left half a Coke(can) on night stand. Still setting there. Thank you again God.

We hold it in place with a used cardboard tube from paper towels. Easy to replace after a few months use and you still have plenty of room for chips and bread.

Guess we are lucky. Never did anything to protect any of the microwave turntables in any of our RVs and never had any mishaps.

But if we ever do, I know how to take care of it now

A balloon works as well.

Just after leaving the Goshen rally in 2017, we stopped at a rest area and pulled up alongside a bumper pull TT and parked. There was an alarm going off in the TT and the guy was walking around it wondering what it was. When he opened the door the propane smell was overwhelming. We shut off his gas valve at the tank and left the door open for a bit.

His microwave door had popped open on those rough ass roads leaving Goshen and the turntable plate had fell out, hitting his gas range control knobs and opening one. Camper was FULL of propane gas. How something didn't spark and cause it to blow to the moon is a miracle.

Me too.
10 different campers, never an issue.
Of course I just jinxed myself.

We simply put a thick bath towel in the microwave that pretty much files it up. No problems!

Only problem is the plastic triange drve piece pops out. Doesnít weigh much,
