Probably the source of the squealing wheel bearing noise.
I know I'll get through this and it's just a material thing.....but frustrating!

Keep the Faith, look at the positives you have found other issues and can get them all resolved in one trip to the dealer.
With us there is some cosmetic damage on our Crusader on one of the slide skirts it doesn't effect anything. The dealer said they would have to order a new one from PT they said we can still close on it and you can bring it back in once we get the part, also it will give you a chance to find out if anything else needs to be done under warranty . I was like why don't we just wait it is a hour and forty minute drive each way for me. The salesman talked to the sales manager and he said when the part comes in we will come pick up your rig and fix it and return it to you. I was good with that and we have a small punch list that is mostly cosmetic and the good thing is hopefully this will be the only time it has to go back for warranty issues.

So the RV is at the dealer, with my list of items on a work order. The service guy pounded a screwdriver into the lock and pried it apart to get the door open. Said it's the third one he has seen with this problem. It may take the dealer a month, but all the issues will be resolved, according to them. Should be as good as new (like there was a good as new) and we should be able to make the California Rally.

Wow, a service guy without a "Blue Key" to remove the tumbler.

Just a thought before you start breaking things. I'm not sure about the exact nature of your RV, we do have a 5th wheel but have not yet picked it up from the dealer so I don't know if the set up is the same as our tt was. When my wife locked herself out of the RV while I was still at work with the extra keys, she had a neighboring campers kid climb through an unlocked storage cabinet I the front of our unit, push up on the bed and enter the camper that way. Not having spent any meaningful time in my new camper, I dont know if this will work for you. But it's just a thought.

I think you'll find with your new fifth wheel there is now way to get in unless it's thru the front door. Congrats on the new RV you'll enjoy it.

I didn't see this covered in this thread; but I was told in my PDI and have read it somewhere before, that when manually cranking in the slides, the rv battery must be disengaged. I guess this is in case the electric motor engages while cranking and is spun backwards or could injure you.
I'm getting old and get things mixed up, so I may be wrong in what I've said.
