3125 Blue Ridge 5th W. Fresh water tank

The first time I camped this year I connected the water at the site to the fresh tank. Took a few minutes to catch this. Now have 1/2 tank of water I can't find the drain for it. Need to winterize now. Can anyone help??

Have you look under the trailer for a low point drain all by its self. On all of my trailers there have been a single low point drain with either a shut off valve or cap that needed to be opened or removed; towards the rear of the trailer.


Another thing that will work is open up a low point drain that you can find and turn your water pump on. Keep all faucets closed and just the low point drain open; this will pump your water out.


Let us know if you find the fresh water tank drain.

Thanks Jim I do have a single drain that I opened but I think just the water in the RV plumbing came out. The gauge button still shows the fresh tank is half full.

My first RV a flagstaff super lite had a drain labeled fresh water drain just a small lever under the other drain knobs.

On our Blue Ridge, the drain for ours is on opposite side of door at the back of the camper maybe your sensor has something on it.

On my 3600RS the plumbing low point drains are located under where the road side basement door is just below the dump valves, a red pipe and a blue pipe. They were capped off (I replaced the caps with valves).

The fresh tank low point drain is almost directly dead center about 3 feet from the rear of the RV, a white pipe. It was also capped off (I replaced the cap with a PVC pipe extension fastened to the rear bumper with a drain valve).

All of them should be easy to see by looking underneath.

You could leave that valve you found under the trailer open then put the hose back in the fill pipe turn it on and see if water starts flowing out the valve you opened. I find, that most drain lines are under where I fill it I go under the trailer and start looking around the spot the fill is. Then I go around the trailer to the other side opposite of the fill and look underneath.

On my 3025 I have to open valve below holding tank and turn pump on to drain tank, hope this helps.

My freshwater tank drain is just forward of the rear stabilizer jack. The low point for hose connection is near back left, the tank is about 5 feet forward in front of jack.

We have the same unit, a Blue Ridge 3125 (2012 model) and the drain is almost directly below the water intake valve on the left rear of the unit just in front of the back bumper. If you drained that and it is still showing half full I would also guess that there is something wet hanging on one of the sensors. I am also guessing that it will dry out after a couple of days and register correctly.
