Rotten Wood

We have a 2014 Blue Ridge 3125. My husband noticed that a wooden header, against which one of the push-outs slides, is rotten..he reached down to the header from the roof, and the wood was so soft that pieces came off in his hand. Upon checking the other two slides, the same damage was noted. I have seen this concern mentioned earlier, in your Forum. We have an appointment to bring the trailer in to our dealership at the end of September. Has anyone else found damage like this on their 5th Wheel? My husband has been in construction over 50 years, and feels this is a designer flaw and is irrepairable.

Most things on these rigs can be repaired. I would think there is a seal problem allowing water into the slide rotting the wood.
