Hi PP,

What is the weight limit for the bunks themselves? Between my spouse and I, and our two dogs that like to sleep with us, I don't want to exceed the weight limit and possibly break or strain the expandable bunks. I've tried looking this up online but I've only been able to find the typical gross weight info and not about what the bunks can hold themselves.

Thanks!

nearly all hybrid bunk ends, no matter the manufacturer, can hold between 1000-1200lbs.

so unless you have a party on it, doubt if you'll break one.

As you were already informed by the knowledgable forum members, the bunks are rated for 1200lbs if you exceed that weight limit, I want to see the pics of that party!

PP,
Just found this thread - glad to have you on board. We upgraded last fall from a pop-up and this is our first full summer in our 269BHDSK (bought a leftover 2013) and we're loving it.

No significant issues so far other than having to upgrade tow vehicles. The Solaire is pretty tongue-heavy and our Ram 1500 didn't cut it. F-250 is doing wonderful for us.

Good to know you're here if a question/issue does arise and if dealer isn't able to assist (so far they have been excellent - Mt. Comfort RV Sales east of Indianapolis).
Happy Camping,
Brian

Hi I have 2012 Palomino S238 and am trying to locate how to manually open the living room slider. It is in storage and will be opening it up in a few days. Is it under the couch? I don't see anything under the trailer.

I just bought a Palomino Stampede 2000, Hybride model 21 Standard.
When I picked it up, all the cushions were all over the place in the RV.
I cannot find a layout where all this pile of cushions go when the extensions
are closed.
Also where can I find the electric diagram of this RV?

Thank you.

that was built way before FR purchased Palomino.
it was owned by a different company that no longer exists, Vanguard Industries.
not sure if there's anyone at Palomino that can help.
and you won't get an electric diagram. they don't exist for the consumer.

you might want to post pics of what you're talking about.

Hello again, PP!

We did end up purchasing the 147x that I had questions about before, and despite some good parties had, those bunks didn't bust! LOL

This time, we are looking to upgrade our shower in our camper to something with doors/walls instead of the curtain. Something along the lines of a neo-angle round base with those glass/plexiglass sliding doors. Is there anything that Palomino recommends for this?
